Kicked Out of Preschool

Brandon just turned 3yrs old yesterday and today he started preschool. What an hour and a half adventure that was. He was talking to his teacher and telling her the time up on the wall, showing her different shapes and colors and reading all the posters on the wall. His teacher was calling him a genius within the first hour. She was amazed he was counting to 30! If that amazed her, I thought… “What could they possibly teach him that he doesn’t already know?” Well as soon as I thought that, my “genius” of a son decided to pick his nose and wipe it on Miss Denise his high school student teacher. She took it in great stride and continued on with her orientation. Brandon is among 20 other 3-4 year olds at this preschool and guess who was the loudest and most active student… yes you guessed it, Brandon. ALL the other kids were sitting quietly with there parent. Brandon was in one of his “bouncing of the wall” moments.

We continued on and went through this question and answer time with our assigned high school student. “Are there any other concerns you have?” His teacher asked. “Oh no I am not concerned about Brandon, I am more concerned about you guys!”

So after about 1 ½ hour of trying to keep Brandon under control, we marched back into the freezing cold weather and went home. After explaining to Brian what had happened. Brian asked, “Well, how do you think he is going to do with this preschool?” With no hesitation I answered, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets kicked out of Preschool!” :)

That is too funny, I can’t stop laughing. At least he didn’t eat it!
