Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! We could not have wished for a more beautiful day to spend visiting family and trick-or-treating with friends. It is a georgous Chicago fall day at 70 degrees. Although this is my first year in about 7 years I have not worn a costume, the kids really enjoyed dressing up and Brian even joined in the fun with wearing a white and orange t-shirt that said “I’m the treat”. Brandon, who had no interest in this costume last year when I bought it, loved his Pirate costume and really got into the character by wearing all the accessories, including the earring. One of Nathan’s favorite songs over the last several months has been “Who let the Dogs Out?” It was only fitting that he was a dog this Halloween and singing… Who let the Dogs out?… Nathan, Nathan, Nathan… all the way to his preschool party.

Brandon and Nathan went trick-or-treating with their friends Aidan and Cameron. They had a great time running from house to house getting their candy.

Brandon got picky with some of our neighbors… “I don’t like this kind, do you have anything else?” As embarrassing as that was, it was so funny to hear him ask.

I guess he knows it doesn’t hurt to ask, right?
He did always say “Thank you”!
