Taxes: in one sentence.

Super Reagan“Government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”

Amusing Political Process

Obama wins the latest primary Guam. GUAM? What the heck? Since when do they get a vote? Reading “Obama wins Guam by a whisker” I found myself laughing inside a couple times.

Isn’t it kinda odd Guam can vote in the primary but not in the general election?

I found this line funny

“A lot of people were confused by the process,” said Robert Lizama, a local mayor

Ok either you pick the pretty black man or the handsomely rugged Clinton. What’s so difficult about that?

Hussein Obama won Guam by 7 votes. RECOUNT CONTROVERSY!!!

Isn’t curious a self proclaimed Christian keeps his Muslim name? I guess it’s convenient to be all things to all people.

By the way Guam contributed 4 votes to Democratic primary.

Hillary on O’Reilly part 2

Here’s part 2 of this interesting interview with HC.

Hillary’s not sounding so bad

I’m doing something I thought I would never do. I’m warming up to Hillary Clinton. I’m not saying she’s got my vote but of the 3 candidates she’s clearly the 2nd best and I no longer think the future is doomed if she becomes President.

Basically my disdain for her came from her flip flopping on issues in the past. Typical politician saying one thing and doing another. That stuff really irritates me. I’d rather have a truthful president that tells me what I don’t want to hear and that’s why I like McCain. But since the last debate with Obama it seems more and more Obama is a goof who has nothing to offer but a slick and charming personality. He obviously makes horrible judgment calls about his personal associations after this Wright and Ayers thing.

Hillary has really impressed me how she has a handle for issues. Even if I don’t agree with a good deal of her policies at least she is articulate and knowledgeable. I give her props for interview with O’Reilly. It’s been driving me crazy how all the candidates dodge the few conservative media outlets there are. So if you missed the interview last night here it is. Part 2 tonight on the Factor.

Thoughts On Last Nights Debate

Did anyone else get the impression that Obama got his brain beat in last night? I have to give Hillary credit. She had better thought through answers on every topic. She composed herself worthy of being a President, even though she would not be my choice.

Obama on the other hand was stumbling over his words all night. It’s like he was trying to pick words out of mid air on topics he should have been more then ready to give a response to. I kept waiting for that charismatic personalty Obama has to shine through. It never happened.

Find it unbelievable that the media (in this case the AP Press) is STILL backing the most liberal candidate regardless of how incompetent he came off tonight. Look at this headline “Clinton emphatically says Obama can win White House

I can’t decide if this headline is comical or sad. Clinton said yes Obama can win the Presidency. That either her or Obama must be President and both sides need to be prepared to unite the democratic party after the primary is over. Beth at the AP Press makes this headline sound like Hillary has all but ready to concede. That couldn’t be farther from the truth.

If this debate were a football game the final score would have been Clinton 38 Obama 3.
