Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! We could not have wished for a more beautiful day to spend visiting family and trick-or-treating with friends. It is a georgous Chicago fall day at 70 degrees. Although this is my first year in about 7 years I have not worn a costume, the kids really enjoyed dressing up and Brian even joined in the fun with wearing a white and orange t-shirt that said “I’m the treat”. Brandon, who had no interest in this costume last year when I bought it, loved his Pirate costume and really got into the character by wearing all the accessories, including the earring. One of Nathan’s favorite songs over the last several months has been “Who let the Dogs Out?” It was only fitting that he was a dog this Halloween and singing… Who let the Dogs out?… Nathan, Nathan, Nathan… all the way to his preschool party.

Sylvia & John’s Wedding

My sister Sylvia was married to John Toliopoulos last Saturday, October 4th. I had the honor of standing up in her wedding and Nathan was the ring bearer. He did a fantastic job walking down the aisle with his tray. The wedding and reception were beautiful with fall colors and caramel apple favors… yum. Sylvia made a stunning bride and I am so happy for both of them. Now all siblings in both our families are married. Yeah! More photos will be in our family photo album. Posted by Anastasia

Yesterday Brian and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary. Hopefully this will be a more lucky year than unlucky year for us! We decided to go to a restaurant we haven’t been to in a long long time, Costa’s in Oak Brook. Good Greek food, Great company and we couldn’t go without ordering a plate of the taramasalata, one of our favorite appetizers. I was just thinking back to several years ago when we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary in Aruba and I was 6 months pregnant with Nathan.
