Reflecting the Book

Flat Earth

Flat Earth
[Isaiah 11:12] “And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.”

[Revelation 7:1] “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.”

The Bible is not a scientific instrument as some would like to think. These verses are figurative and not literal.

The Dash

It’s funny how some people have the ability to put even the smallest things into perspective. So I guess the question is… what are you going to do with you’re dash?

The Dash

trees and salvation

God seems to have this thing for trees.

In Genesis and Revelation God informs us of the “tree of life“.
In Luke we learn that baby Jesus was laid in a manger.
In Matthew and Mark we learn that Jesus was a carpenter.
In the 4 gospels we learned that Jesus ate his last meal at a table.
In the 4 gospels we read where Jesus was nailed to a cross.

Trees are every where … even on Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
So each time you see a tree … whether it’s a Christmas tree in December … an apple blossom tree in May … or an oak tree in July … remember that God loved you so much that He sent His Son to die on a tree for your salvation.

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2: 24

Merry Christmas !

The pictures are awesome….but wait until you read the words.

Q: What is the shortest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 117

Q: What is the longest chapter in the Bible?

A: Psalms 119

Q: Which chapter is in the center of the Bible?

A: Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters before Psalms 118

Fact: There are 594 chapters after Psalms 118

Add these numbers up and you get 1188.

Q: What is the center verse in the Bible?

A: Psalms 118:8

Q: Does this verse say something significant about God’s perfect will for our lives?

The next time someone says they would like to find

God’s perfect will for their lives and that they want to

be in the center of His will, just send them to the

center of His Word!

Psalms 118:8

“It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.”

Now isn’t that odd how this worked out (or was God in the center of it)?

When things get tough, always remember…

Faith doesn’t get you around trouble, it gets you through it !!

God Bless You!
