ABC’s

Hope you enjoyed Star Wars week.

There was some crazy stuff going on around the world. Like the Muslim mother who called her 21 year old son a hero after blowing up an Isreali resturant and himself. Duke LaCross boys get pulled into court, even though no DNA was found and the 2nd striper at the scene of the crime admits to seeing nothing. We find out the Chinese are harvesting the organs of prisoners. Oh soooo much to write about. Lots of good topics for this coming week.

But for this first post after Star Wars week lets keep things on the light side (compared to the darkside :) )

Give Brandon a truck, tool, or some pans to beat on and he’ll drop them like a hot potatos. The boy’s only interested in ABC’s, reading, and spelling.

We’ve been teaching Brandon how to pray at mealtime. We ask him to pray by giving him a line and then he repeats it.

Thank you God… “Thank you God”
For this food… “For this food”
Amen… “Amen”

Yesterday we sat down for breakfast. Brandon started praying on his own for the first time…

“Thank you God for Mommy and Daddy,
Thank you God for ABC’s
Amen”

I am going to assume that the “thank you for ABC’s” part was not from Brandon, but from you? ;) That would indeed be his prayer though, except you forgot the “thank you for Nanaaaaagrammmmmaaaa”!! I love that boy to pieces and I thank God for him and that brain of his! Cute picture, think I will right click it and steal it for my brag collection.

Actually… Brandon did really say “thank you God for ABC’s”. That’s what’s so funny. He knows what’s important in his little world! He has said that now several times!

Gosh those blocks look familiar – spent the morning hanging out with Ryan and the Seidel boys. Zach will soon be thanking God for balls and sports! :)

Ahhh, I believe he did say “Thank God For ABC’s”.
Everytime he sees John and I all he says is “ABC’s”
Oh and “where is Uncle John?” Too Funny!
Cute to hear what he is thankful for.
