A Wicked Valentines Day

WickedI’ve seen 12-15 musicals so I have lots to compare Wicked to. I’d say it ranks in the top 2-4 musicals overall. The music and customs were good. I liked the sets as well. Where this musical really exceeded was the story line. The plot was just brilliant.

The story explains how the wicked witch became wicked, the relationship between the wicked witch and the fairy godmother. I don’t want to give away any other spoilers but the story gives insight into the Wizard of Oz that I’ve never seen or heard before.

I would recommend wicked for the whole family. I think children would need to have seen the Wizard of Oz and probably be 8+ years old to be able to fully understand what’s going on. It’s definitely a great date night idea.
