Cutting Ties with Moose (can’t separate), Walker (had a 5.2m bonus coming) and Miller (just bad).

Offering contracts to Berrian, Briggs, Harris and Brandon A.

Incredible, if we can get all of those players it will be a SUCCESSFUL offseason IMO.

Having Briggs on the team is crucial to helping our team. It’s obvious that we are in a “rebuilding year” trying to get back to the playoffs, and any pieces we can shore up now will help us long term in the future. Briggs is a TREMENDOUS player and is in his prime, he’s got a good 4-5 years left before his production begins to slide, and it’s critical that the Bears justify him staying on the team.

You can say ditto for Harris as well.

Maintaining Berrian will be a nice boost, making WR not as pressing of a need this offseason.

Signing Brandon A. will also continue to make us the best Special Teams Unit in the NFL.

If JA can pull this off it will be a miracle!

Anyone got a bead on what he offered each player? Either way, at least this makes Rosenhause a very busy man, and if he completes these deals it will be a NICE pay-day for him. Maybe that’s JAs strategy! Have multiple contracts for multiple players for 1 team make him think of that!

Also, at least this opens up negotiations for each player–especially Briggs and Harris!

08 Madden Cover

Just heard it was going to be Eli Manning. Maybe they shoulda just killed the curse by going Shaun Taylor? Not in a mean way. Taylor was a stud and it could have been a nice tribute to his passing. Maybe with a little luck the curse would have passed also.

1 Year Anniversary

After a year we’re pretty happy with our decision to purchase a new Vue. The car has been reliable so far. The V6 has ample power and nice handling. It’s been very versatile regarding the way we use the vehicle. Mainly it’s been nice having a new car and knowing it’s under warranty. The only real down side it’s had is the passenger seat has been a little squeaky at times. And the other thing that really bugs me is the spot where you put your left foot when driving go right on the carpeting. There’s no rubber to guard the carpet from wet shoes. A minor over site I guess. I’ll have to look for floor mats that go up that high.

9,500 miles during the first year of usage. Free car washes are nice too.
